How you can trust this is the original Shure SE215 earbud?
You shall ask the vendor to offer Frequency Response Measurement of the earbud you ordered, and compare with the trust-able 3rd party measurement. The FR curve is just like the finger print of an earphone, different design and building materials would never make identical FR response.

I like this earphone , I order the crystal as color, it looks elegant. The earbuds make a big different, each earbud will give different kind of sound, I found out on of my ear canal is bigger than the one , I end up using different bud for each ear! It sounds “better” after the burn-in for 72 hours, intermittently, remember the taste of sound is subjective for each individual. I search and own quite a lot of headphones and earphones, for this price and quality is win-win situation. I am satisfy with its bass reproduction.
